The "March in the Boots of Our Troops" is the creation of Retired U.S. Army Reserve Veteran Sergeant First Class Miguel Figueroa and acclaimed Artist Marc Gagnon. The purpose of the "March in the Boots of Our Troops" is to have participants walk in boots and "experience" a moment in the life of a soldier. Participants in the walk are asked to wear combat boots, work boots or any other type of boot and walk one to four miles to raise money for an A+ rated military charity.

The walk is designed to get people to think about our honored military servicemen and women.
